Alumni Spotlight - Judge Kimberley Cruz

Body

Judge Kimberley Cruz, UVA Class of 2002, currently serves as an Administrative Law Judge for the Washington D.C. Office of Administrative Hearings. She began her career in public defense in Fort Myers, Florida, and later represented the state as a prosecutor in cases related to child welfare. Coming into public defense out of law school, she confessed that she was unprepared for some of the realities of the job.

Christina Milnor is an alumna of UVA Law, who has had a robust career as an attorney specializing in securities and white-collar law. In a 15-year-long legal career, she has worked at several different organizations, including a nonprofit, the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), and several law firms.
