Allison Vanderberg

Allison Vanderberg graduated from the University of Virginia in May 2011 with a M.S. in Accounting, Financial Reporting & Assurance track.

Following her graduation from UVA, she joined EY as a Consulting Staff focused on technology risk and earned both the Certified Public Accountant and Certified Information Systems Auditor certifications. Allison was promoted to Partner in July 2023 and currently serves as the EY East Region Consumer Risk Leader. Her 12 years of experience has been focused in implementing large-scale internal audit, internal controls and risk management programs, as well as leading program governance for transformational technology enabled initiatives.

Outside of work, Allison serves as a member of the Board of Director for Maymont, a historic park and estate based in Richmond, VA.

Omar Amer

M.S. in Commerce - Business Analytics

Omar Amer, a Manager in EY's FSO Data & Analytics practice, graduated from the University of Virginia in 2018 with a Master's in Commerce in the Business Analytics track. Following his graduation, Omar joined EY as a Consultant in EY's Financial Services Organization with a focus on banking and capital markets.

He has since established his brand as a subject matter expert in data migration/conversion for M&A engagements. During his time at EY, Omar expanded into the cloud infrastructure space and has led teams through core banking cloud modernization work in Snowflake and AWS to help scale EY clients' data needs through various data architecture solutions. He sat on multiple panels promoting data scalability, data migration practices, and professional career development. Omar is also involved in a few EY professional networks and serves as the Community Pillar lead for the Middle Eastern & North African group.

George Moss

Commerce - Global Development Studies and Commerce

George graduated from the University of Virginia in May 2020 with a BSC in Global Development Studies and Commerce, concentration in Information Technology with a Business Analytics track. George served on the Profit with Purpose board, as a McIntire Mentor, was president of the Racquetball Club, and completed the Global Commerce Scholars Thesis Program. He spent a semester studying in Singapore.

He Joined EY in January 2021 with the Business Transformation group with a focus on helping companies progress the energy transition. He assisted several utilities with defining their service strategies, enabling growth opportunities, and launching innovative products. In addition to his client facing work, he is a part of EY's Global Customer Experience Transformation and Digital Innovations teams, helping them bring forward customer-centric ideas throughout the energy ecosystem.

Apart from his day-to-day at EY, he loves biking throughout NYC, learning new topics by reading books, and spending quality time with family and friends conversing over home-cooked meals. In October 2022, he spoke at UVA's first ESG Conference, discussing climate risk for companies and communities.
