What is a Career Community Newsletter?
These newsletters are industry-specific emails curated by UVA Career Counselors, which contain upcoming events, jobs, internships and career advice tailored to your interests. Signing up for multiple newsletters is encouraged and it is a great way to stay updated on Career Center events and industry opportunities.
Steps for Joining a Newsletter
1. Open Handshake and click on your initials in the top right corner, or follow this link directly to My Handshake Career Interests.
2. Select “My Career Interests” from the drop-down menu.
3. For the question “Which UVA career communities interest you?” Select as many career communities as you’d like to receive newsletters for.
4. Click the “Save” button.
