Kate leads the Career Community specifically for students with interests in creative industries such as Fine & Performing Arts, Media/Entertainment, Journalism & Design. As an undergraduate, her career exploration was focused in museums and material culture, so she is excited to now help students who are pursuing a path in creative industries. She welcomes alumni contacts, recruiting requests, and other connections in any of these fields!

Prior to joining the UVA Career Center in August 2009, Kate worked as an educational content developer for a local startup and has also taught middle school English.
