IPP - Technology Summer 2025 Application

Explore careers, gain professional experience and skills, and expand your network. The IPP team uses information provided in the application and interview process to match you with a customized internship placement based on the best opportunities for your interests, skills, and goals. IPP is a great option for students exploring career paths and functional roles who are open to gaining experience from a wide range of industries and from professionals who are dedicated mentors and supervisors.
As a placement program, while every consideration will be given to your internship site preferences, specific IPP placements cannot be guaranteed due to student demand, selectivity, and/or specific requirements of some internship sites.
Eligibility
- 2nd or 3rd year undergraduate student enrolled full-time at UVA
- Good academic standing; Overall GPA > 2.5
- Clear disciplinary record
- Meet the health, age, academic, security, and/or related internship criteria of the sponsoring organization
- Ability to complete an internship reflection course in Fall 2025: UNST 3910: Self & Organizations or UNST 3920: Teams, Leadership, and Organizations
- Meet program internship hour requirements (20 hours/weekly from Monday, June 2nd - Friday, July 25th)

Review Internships: Search available internships in Handshake under IPP Tech: in Jobs or by using the IPP Summer 2025 Tech Internship List. Links to full internship descriptions are included in the Handshake Job Link column. We recommend you save the position descriptions for your top preferences. When the application closes you will be unable to re-review the descriptions in Handshake.

Complete Application Questions via Qualtrics: Submit your application via the IPP Summer 2025 Student Tech Application in Qualtrics. Applications will be considered incomplete until the Qualtrics survey is completed. Once the application is submitted, it cannot be reviewed.
Additional information about next steps will be provided mid-March.
The traditional IPP Summer 2025 application (all industries; non-tech internships) will open on Monday, March 3rd.
