Guidance for Students Affected by the Federal Government Hiring Freeze
- Q: What should a student do if their offer has been rescinded for a federally funded job or federal government role?

Students are encouraged to contact the UVA Career Center to meet with a career advisor. Advisors can assist with:
- Alternate career pathways to consider and associated job listings
- Guidance on how to tap into UVA alumni and employer networks
- Revising job search materials to align with a different field or sector
Appointments can also be scheduled via Handshake or students can stop by drop-in office hours (no appointment needed) in Clemons Library, 2nd Floor
