Virginia Commercial Space Flight Authority is excited to announce our 2018 Engineering Summer Internship Program located on the Eastern Shore of Virginia. We are committed to promoting STEM education as well as industrial and economic development through the growth and promotion of the commercial space flight industry. We are currently seeking qualified rising Seniors and rising Juniors enrolled in a four-year Bachelor of Science degree program to participate in a 12-week summer internship at the Mid
Atlantic Regional Spaceport in Wallops Island. Those selected gain valuable exposure to day-today operations of a launch pad and work with a highly experienced team ranging from entry level engineers to thirty-year plus veterans of the Space Shuttle program. Overseen by our Chief Engineer, interns are required to participate in a final capstone project of their choice and experience at the end of the program. The internship program begins Monday May 21st through August 10th. Resumes will be accepted until January 31st. Students wishing to apply may submit a resume and a one-page cover letter to
