UVA Summer Medical Leadership Program
SMLP is a free, six-week summer medical enrichment program for undergraduate students from underrepresented backgrounds who are interested in pursuing careers in medicine.
- Lecture series by leaders in medicine
- Mentoring by eminent physicians
- Exposure to clinical settings
- Personal career development counseling
- Workshops on medical school admissions, financial planning, time and stress
Applications are reviewed on an ongoing basis until April 15th, 2018.
