Doris Duke Conservation Scholars Program (DDCSP UM)

Ann Arbor, Michigan, June 4 – July 29, 2017. The DDCSP UM is a two-year internship program consisting of two eight-week summer internships.  The program will cover room and board, travel to and from Ann Arbor, travel for field trips, research expenses, and a $4,250 stipend.  Students will have the opportunity to conduct research with leaders in the conservation field and work in conservations organizations in Ann Arbor and Detroit.  Detailed program information and application are available at


2017 Davidson Fellows Scholarships

The Davidson Institute for Talent Development offers high-achieving young people across the country the opportunity to be named a 2017 Davidson Fellow, an honor accompanied by a $50,000, $25,000 or $10,000 scholarship in recognition of a significant piece of work in Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics, Music, Literature, Philosophy or Outside the Box. Applicants must submit an original piece of work that is recognized as significant by experts in the field and that has the potential to make a positive contribution to society. Summer Research Internship for Minority Students (SRIMS)

Huntington, WV, May 30 – July 27, 2017. Marshall University’s Biomedical Sciences Graduate Program is hosting undergraduate participants for nine weeks of graduate-level research in the field of biomedical sciences. Participants receive formal research training while expanding their learning experience through workshops, seminars on current topics, mentoring, and use of state-of-the-art core facilities.  A stipend of $3,000 will be provided to each participant for the nine-week experience. Participants will receive free room and board, as well as assistance with travel.  Apply online.
