Harvard has a number of programs this summer dedicated to helping students of all disciplens discover how they can access a public health career.  

The following programs are available this summer for all students wishing to explore public health. 

Summer Program in Biostatistics and Computational Biology - Deadline February 1, 2018

Length: 6 weeks 
Program includes: Stipend, airfare, housing, & GRE prep course
Department: Biostatistics Overview: This comprehensive program prepares undergraduate students for advanced degrees in Biostatistics, Comp Bio, and Public Health by exposing them to the use of quantitative methods for biological, environmental, and medical research. Fostering Advancement & Careers through Enrichment Training in Science - Deadline: February 4, 2018

Length: 6 weeks
Program includes: Stipend, airfare, housing, & GRE prep course
Department: School-wide Overview: An interdisciplinary program with cross-departmental coursework and research opportunities with faculty from Social & Behavioral Sciences, Health Policy, Environmental Health, Nutrition, and Global Health. Summer Program in Epidemiology and Biostatistics - Deadline extended to  February 8, 2018

 Length: 5 weeks 
Program includes: Stipend, airfare, housing, & GRE prep course
Department: Epidemiology Overview: This program integrates mathematics and quantitative methods to provide undergraduates with an understanding of the skills and processes necessary to pursue a career in Epidemiology or Biostatistics. Summer Program in the Biological Sciences - Deadline: February 4, 2018

Length: 8 weeks 
Program includes: Stipend, airfare, housing, & GRE prep course
Department: Division of Biological Sciences Overview: Exposes undergraduate science students to the rewards of laboratory research directed towards solving important public health problems.
