Columbia Undergraduate Law Review - Call for Submissions
The Columbia Undergraduate Law Review, a journal of undergraduate legal scholarship based at COlumbia University in the City of New York, is accepting submissions for its Spring 2018 issue. The deadline for submissions is February 8th at 11:55 PM ET but submissions are encouraged prior to that deadline.
In recognition of the various paths undergraduates may take to study law, research articles, senior theses, and essays embracing a wide range of topics and viewpoints related to the field of law and welcomed and encouraged. Undergraduate students in any major, track, or class year should thus feel free to send their work.

Submissions should be double-spaced in Microsoft Word .doc or .docx format, follow the Chicago style, and include endnotes as well as a Works Cited section. Although submissions of any length are considered, the majority of published pieces rnage from 20 - 25 pages. It is highly appreciated if longer papers can be shortened to fit this page length recommendation before submission. The document should also include the following information:
- Current email and phone number
- Undergraduate college / university
- Year of graduation
- Indicate whether the paper is about: International Law, Domestic Law, Historical Law, or Other
- 250-word abstract
- Short explanation of when and why paper was initially written
