Georgetown Government, Nonprofit and Education Career Fair – 10am-3pm | Friday, February 7th

The annual Government and Nonprofit Career EXPO brings top employers to recruit for internships and full-time jobs in a wide range of fields in the government and nonprofit sectors. Don't miss this opportunity to learn more about careers in government and nonprofit and to network with employers. Many students have secured internships and full-time employment as a result of this annual event.

Capitol Hill Conversations – 2-4pm | Friday, February 7th

Interested in learning about internships and careers on Capitol Hill? This event will connect you with UVA alumni working on Capitol Hill for both parties and houses. These Career Conversations are a great way to connect with alumni who will share their career story, tips for breaking into the "Hill", and provide inside information about internships and full-time opportunities. Conversations are 30 minutes each and will be hosted in Washington DC at the Rayburn House Office Building.

Complete These Steps to Register:

  1. Search "Capitol Hill Networking Conversations" under Jobs in Handshake. There are 14 postings.
  2. Review alumni biographies within each individual posting and identify those of interest.
  3. Select "Apply" within each individual posting and upload your resume. You will do this for each alumnus you wish to meet with. You can apply to meet with more than one.

DC IMPACTlink Interview Day – 8am-5pm | Friday, February 7th

While the deadline has passed, students can submit their resume to an electronic resume book showed to employers that day to fill last minute open interview slots. Students must already be in Washington DC on February 7th.
