Legislative Correspondent/Legislative Aide

The office of Rep. Ann Kirkpatrick (AZ-02) is seeking candidates for the Legislative Correspondent/Legislative Aide position in our Washington, D.C. office. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Executing a robust and efficient constituent correspondence program
  • Assisting the legislative team with writing and research projects
  • Overseeing the intern production in D.C. office
  • Responsible for a small legislative portfolio
  • Other special projects and duties as assigned 

The position requires excellent organizational and proofreading skills, strong written and oral communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. Scheduler/Staff Assistant

The office of Rep. Ann Kirkpatrick (AZ-02) is seeking a highly organized, hardworking, and detail-oriented Scheduler/Staff Assistant based out of our Washington D.C. office. The scheduler would report directly to the Chief of Staff and work closely with the District Director. Responsibilities include, but not limited to:

  • Tracking, evaluating, and responding to all scheduling requests in DC and Arizona
  • Organizing the Member’s daily briefing materials, coordinating Member’s travel arrangements, and organizing Member’s short-term and long-term schedule for DC and the District
  • The staff assistant portion of this role requires managing tour and flag requests and general administrative/technology support.  
  • Other special projects as needed

Strong candidates will have excellent written and oral communication skills and strong attention to detail. Searching for someone that can anticipate problems and offer solutions. The job requires an individual that can communicate clearly in a fast-paced environment with a positive attitude and work effectively with different teams. This individual will work very closely with the congresswoman, DC and district staff. Applicants must have superior organizational skills, ability to multi-task, strong written and oral communication skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.  The position on occasion involves longer hours and availability by phone on weekends and evenings. Arizona ties are highly encouraged but not required.

Staff Assistant/Operations Coordinator

Rep. Raja Krishnamoorthi (IL-08) seeks a Staff Assistant/Operations Coordinator in Washington, DC. Successful applicants will have strong organizational and communications skills, an impeccable work ethic, and the ability to juggle multiple projects simultaneously. Daily tasks include driving the Congressman, staffing him at events throughout the day, and other official duties as assigned. Candidates must have access to a car and the ability to work long hours when the Congressman is in Washington, DC.

Legislative Correspondent

The Office of Rep. Ruben Gallego (AZ-07) is seeking candidates for the Legislative Correspondent position. The LC is responsible for managing an active mail program, including sorting/batching incoming mail, drafting/editing letters, and overseeing the letter approval process.
