Free Coursera Courses

The Career Center has partnered with UVA Online Learning to provide free access to a number of Coursera courses.  More information is below; reach out to Kyle Hodges for more information!

What is Coursera?
Coursera is an opportunity for students to foster and refine their career readiness by taking flexible, online classes that are designed to help them develop skills and knowledge for the professional world.

What courses are included?
UVA has a partnership with Coursera and courses have been developed specifically for our students based around career-readiness. In addition, Google has recently partnered with UVA to bring courses that lead to a Google Cloud certification. See below for a full list in each collection:

Who can access Coursera?
All current UVA students can access any of the courses on Coursera for FREE!

How long do the courses take?
Each course lasts for approximately four weeks and offers flexible timelines for students to complete anytime, anywhere.

How do students access this?

Why should students enroll?
Coursera allows students to access the classes that help them to explore interests and develop knowledge and skills that will help them to advance their career. Upon completing each course, students will be presented with a certificate that they can put on their resume and LinkedIn page for employers to see.
