Job Opening on the Hill: Constituent and Digital Correspondence Coordinator
The office of Congresswoman Katherine Clark seeks a Constituent and Digital Correspondence Coordinator to join the Washington, D.C. team. The coordinator will be responsible for managing the constituent correspondence program and assisting the communications team with digital outreach. Responsibilities of this position include supervising a team of interns and staff to process constituent mail; composing, editing, and sending constituent letters; generating, editing, and posting social media content; maintaining an up to date website; and developing other forms of constituent communications.
Ideal candidates will be excellent writers, have a demonstrated interest in both policy and communications work, be detail-oriented, have an ability to manage multiple competing tasks, and work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment. Familiarity with graphic design and video development preferred.
This is not an entry-level position. Successful candidates will need to demonstrate their writing ability by completing an in person writing and editing test. Previous Hill experience and Massachusetts ties are a plus but not required. Diverse candidates, women, and LGBTQ persons are strongly encouraged to apply.
