Eight weeks, six credits, real-world projects, one life-enriching summer—online.
UVA Launchpad is an intensive, eight-week University of Virginia program custom-built to prepare students for the world of work by combining liberal arts coursework, technical “bootcamp” style training, and career-focused projects.
This program was created to provide students an online opportunity over the summer to grow academically and prepare for careers, and it will return for Summer Session 2021! This summer, students will choose one course and one bootcamp to take during the first four weeks of the program, selected from offerings that range from writing for television to digital marketing and data science. During the second four weeks, all Launchpad 2021 students will take "Introduction to Complex Problem Solving & Strategic Decision Making," a three-credit course that includes real-world projects for employers.
