As Marketing and Communications Coordinator, Monica is passionate about helping students discover programming and opportunities that help them reach their career goals. With a background in journalism, sociology and applied research in civil rights, Monica has transferred her communication skills and goal to help people from all walks of life. 

Prior to joining the Career Center, Monica served as the Communications Manager for the School of Data Science. Prior to this, she was a morning news reporter for Spectrum News in Charlotte, NC and Syracuse, NY.
