Sarah Benson

College and Graduate School of Arts & Sciences
Sarah Benson graduated from the University of Virginia in 2020, with a B.A. in Cognitive Science (Computer Science) and a minor in Statistics. During her time at UVA, she pursued her interest in the integration of neuroscience, computer science, and statistics outside the classroom by working as a Research Assistant in UVA’s Computational Memory Lab. Sarah began working with CGI Federal as Data Science intern in the summer of 2019. During this time, she conducted a capstone project in computer vision, with the help and support of CGI Federal data scientists. She now works as a fulltime Data Scientist at CGI Federal, where she participates in a wide range of data science and analytics projects across industries.
