We will begin by parking everyone in the Central Grounds Parking Garage (400 Emmet St S, Charlottesville, VA 22903) which is the parking garage at the UVA Bookstore. If you are parked in the Central Grounds Parking Garage, you will need to receive a parking validation at check in. Please see directions below.

In the case that we must utilize overflow parking for the event, we have secured the Emmet/Ivy Parking Garage (123 Emmet Street Charlottesville, VA 22903). After parking the Emmet/Ivy Garage, you will be able to walk down Emmet Street to the Central Grounds Garage and proceed up the stairs to enter Newcomb on the first floor. You can also utilize the Northline University Transport Shuttle to the McCormick Road at Alderman Library Stop to enter Newcomb on the 3rd floor where the event will occur. If you park in the Emmet/Ivy Garage, you DO NOT need a parking validation as there will be a parking life on the lot.

From I-64

Following signs to the UVA Information Center, get off at exit 118B for the Route 29/250 Bypass. Go approximately 2 miles and take the off ramp for Route 250 East Business (Ivy Road). Turn right off the exit ramp and follow Ivy Road. At the third traffic light, turn right on Route 29 Business/Emmet Street. Turn left into the University of Virginia parking garage (hourly fees).

From I-66 via US Route 29 North

Take I-66 from Northern Virginia past Manassas. Take the exit marked "Route 29 South - Gainesville." Proceed to Charlottesville, where Route 29 becomes Emmet Street. Pass the John Paul Jones Arena on the right. Proceed straight through the traffic light at the intersection of Route 250 Business (University Avenue/Ivy Road). Turn left into the University of Virginia parking garage (hourly fees).

Bring your parking stub from the entrance gate to the event for validation.
