Interim Assistant Director

As the Interim Assistant Director, Becca is primarily responsible for providing counseling support and helping students along the professional journey. Additionally, she provides support to the various career communities and many career center programs.

Prior to joining the UVA Career Center in October 2017, Becca was Associate Director and Internship Coordinator at Hampden-Sydney College, where she provided career advising and helped students make lifelong connections to further their own professional development. In addition to career counseling, she oversaw the Internship Program, and worked directly with the Fellowship Advising Office and students applying to nationally competitive scholarships. She had a varied career path before choosing career counseling, which included healthcare and retail. She is most passionate about helping students overcome roadblocks to success and making meaningful connections.

Becca is a proud graduate of Longwood University and a Hokie fan who just happens to be born and raised in Charlottesville! She lives outside of Farmville with her husband (also Longwood alumni) and their rambunctious lab/pit, June.
