Associate Director, Internship Placement Program

Kimberly Link is Interim Director of the University Internship Program at the University of Virginia which connects students with over 300 internships in the Charlottesville community annually.  She is a member of the National Association of Colleges and Employers (NACE) and Cooperative Education and Internship Association (CEIA). 

Kim joined the UVA Career Center in October 2014. She brings industry perspective and career preparation strategies from experiences in corporate recruiting at McKinsey & Company, and work in external relations, career services, and admissions at Dartmouth’s Amos Tuck School of Business, Northwestern’s Kellogg School of Management, and most recently, the Leeds School of Business at the University of Colorado, Boulder. Kim is dedicated to supporting students in making valuable connections between their academic studies, values, personal interests, and future careers.  And, designing a satisfying and fulfilling life.

Kim is an alumna of Dickinson College, where she studied English, French and Education.  She received her Master’s Degree in Educational Foundations Policy and Practice at the University of Colorado, Boulder. Kim lives in Crozet with her family and enjoys time with her kids, horse, and dog and touring the beautiful Virginia wine country.
