Associate Director Internship Center

Kim is focused on the development of the Internship Center, a centralized hub of internship resources and programming designed to increase student engagement, career exploration, professional skill development, and internship placement. She is a member of the National Association of Colleges and Employers (NACE) and Cooperative Education and Internship Association (CEIA). 

Kim joined the UVA Career Center in October 2014. She brings industry perspective and career preparation strategies from her previous experience in corporate recruiting at McKinsey & Company, and work in external relations, career services, and admissions at Dartmouth’s Amos Tuck School of Business, Northwestern’s Kellogg School of Management, and most recently, the Leeds School of Business at the University of Colorado, Boulder. Kim is dedicated to supporting students in making valuable connections between their academic studies, values, personal interests, and future careers.  

Kim is an alumna of Dickinson College, where she studied English, French and Education.  She received her Masters Degree in Educational Foundations Policy and Practice at the University of Colorado, Boulder. Kim lives in Crozet with her family and enjoys time with her kids, horse, and dog and touring the beautiful Virginia wine country.
