Assistant Director of Pre-Health and Law Advising

In her role as both an Assistant Director and Advisor, Rebecca primarily works with students who are preparing for and applying to health and law professional programs. Rebecca strives to positively empower students to set realistic expectations in achieving their career and professional aspirations. 

Rebecca has worked with the UVA Career Center since June 2013, and previously held career counseling and advising positions at Florida State University. She is a member of The National Association of Advisors for the Health Professions (NAAHP), The Southeast Association of Advisors for the Health Professions (SAAHP), The Pre-Law Advisors National Council (PLANC), and The Northeast Association of Pre-Law Advisors (NAPLA). 

Rebecca earned her Ed.S./M.S. degree in Counseling and Human Services with a concentration in Career Counseling from Florida State University. She earned her B.A. in Psychology from the University of Virginia. Go Hoos! In her spare time, she enjoys reading mystery novels, traveling to historical landmarks, watching college football, and spending time with her white German Shepard, Dallas.
