Assistant Director of Career Programs

Leslie joined the UVA Career Center in 2014 and currently serves as Assistant Director of Career Programs. Leslie works with colleagues from the Career Center, across Grounds, employers, and alumni to facilitate programming with a “student-first” approach to increase student engagement and skill development to enable inspired career exploration.

Prior to coming to the Career Center, Leslie managed the Rotunda where she enjoyed working with students, departments, and schools to create successful events. While at the Rotunda, Leslie collaborated with the Miller Center, Darden School of Business, Center for Politics, and other notable UVA organizations to bring national programming to the University. In 2011, Leslie joined the Vice President and Chief Student Affairs office as Executive Assistant to the Vice President. She helped coordinate the annual Gray-Carrington Memorial Scholarship, Distinguished Student Award, Dabney Award, and many other VPSA events, including the Dialogue on Sexual Misconduct Conference.

After attending Radford University, Leslie formed her own company managing conferences and events throughout the country. Leslie lives on a small farm east of Charlottesville with her husband and enjoys time with her family, traveling, rescue dogs, and being at the water.
