Apply to the Virginia Management Fellows!

Halley Trinh – October 13th, 2017

Great opportunity for recent undergraduates, Master or Ph.D. graduates who are dedicated to serving the residents of Virginia!

Virginia Gov. Terry McAuliffe announced the opening of applications this week for the first Virginia Management Fellows (VMF) class, a Commonwealth initiative developed with Virginia Tech to meet the state’s growing needs for future leaders. The program seeks emerging leaders with the desire to serve the people of the Commonwealth of Virginia, and a willingness to commit to a 2-year fellowship of state-level service and learning. Applicants should demonstrate an interest in public service and volunteerism, and the capacity to work as both a leader and a participant in team efforts. Critical thinking is a sought-after skill.

The VMF program is open to U.S. citizens who are interested in public service and dedicated to Virginia’s citizens.   VMF program applicants must have graduated on or after May 1, 2015 from an accredited institution with a Bachelor, Master, or Ph.D. degree. Students who are currently enrolled in a degree-seeking graduate-level program are not eligible.
