Study Abroad Opportunities in Education

Kalea Obermeyer – November 9th, 2017

Interested in studying abroad, but worried about fulfilling all of your education requirements? Or rather, the list of options is too imtimidating to go through? The ECYD community has compiled a list of J-term, summer, semester, and year-long study abroad programs through the UVA Education Abroad Website that offer courses related to education!

All of the education classes within each school and program below are taught primarily in English, and all have at least three different education-specific classes available. Only the IFSA-Butler and UVA Curry in Ghent and Eindhoven programs are Curry-specific. Most application fees are $90, and you have to complete the UVA Education Abroad Workshop before you can apply to these programs. There are specific counselors assigned to each study abroad program through the UVA International Studies Office, so you can receive personalized assistance when applying! To see a shortened document available in the ECYD community under "attachments" on Handshake, click here.

Remember, these are only a sampling of study abroad opportunities UVA offers! There are plenty others for Curry students that are not directly through UVA, it just takes a little more research to find.
