Social Media and Communications Internship

Fall 2017

Kim Lundgren Associates "KLA" (www.klasustainability.com) is seeking a part-time Social Media and Communications Intern to assist with strategy and implementation for the company's content marketing, branding and sales. It's an opportunity to work with a start-up in the sustainability/climate change/clean energy space on a variety of writing and social media projects.

KLA is a benefits corporation that partners with local governments to build the sustainable communities they envision. We do this by delivering affordable tools and services to assess, plan, implement, evaluate and communicate sustainability goals and programs. The KLA Sustainability Dashboard, our keystone tool, makes it easy to track progress toward goals and creates a pathway for community participation through interactive polling and calls to action. KLA's clients represent local governments of all shapes and sizes, including Cambridge, MA; Encinitas, CA; Nashua, NH; and San Antonio, TX.

KLA's current communications portfolio includes: social media (Twitter, LinkedIn and launching soon on Facebook), blog posts, SAS Talk with Kim podcasts (https://soundcloud.com/sastalk), and email marketing.

The Intern will work with KLA's Marketing Consultant on:

-- Social media strategy

-- Content and posts for Twitter, Facebook and LinkedIn

-- Graphics (design experience a plus but not a requirement)

-- Pitches to media

-- Writing and editing blog posts and case studies

-- Content for monthly client/prospect emails

Details:
